Project Types and Services

Site Development/Redevelopment – We tackle the array of challenges these types of projects present, including code compliance, challenging topography and access issues.

Residential, Multi-Family and Senior Living Developments – Westlake is experienced meeting the design, approval, and permitting challenges which often come with housing development. We often also design the utility extensions and roadway improvements required to meet conditions of approval for these developments.

Educational & Institutional Campuses – Our experience and understanding of these sites allows us to work in partnership with campus design teams for new, expanded, and remodeled facilities. We assist our clients during each development phase.

Commercial, Mixed-Use and Industrial – These sites often present a variety of site-specific needs such traffic flow, parking, and pedestrian use. We often assist clients with master planning for new sites, as well as with redesign for re-use or expanded use.

Storm Water Management & Mitigation – We bring a creative approach to identifying acceptable options for every site. Our experience allows us to develop the innovative yet practical solutions needed for remodeling or redevelopment projects where space is limited.

Roadways & Streets – Civil design for both new roadway projects and realignment or widening projects, along with utility infrastructure.

Utility Infrastructure – Conceptual planning, upgrade design and detailed calculations for utility projects. Frequently, utility projects are complicated by functional challenges created by aging infrastructure or upgrades necessary to accommodate growth and development. Westlake’s team is adept at meeting these challenges.
