Westlake Participates in The Great Oregon ShakeOut

For the third year in a row, WCI will participate in The Great Oregon ShakeOut on Thursday, October 21st.

This year’s ice storm, record breaking heat, drought, and ongoing pandemic reaffirm the need to have a solid plan in place in the event any natural disaster. To mark the occasion, WCI will be encouraging staff to make a plan by sharing resources and offering ideas on how to build an emergency kit or go bag in the event that a major earthquake strikes.

The Great Oregon ShakeOut encourages organizations, schools, and communities to review emergency preparedness plans and supplies every year. This year, over 515,000 in the state of Oregon and 144,000 people in Washington County alone will participate in the event.

If you’d like to learn how to prepare for an emergency, create an emergency kit/go bag, or would like to download emergency apps onto your phone, below are some links to help you get started.

Client Testimonial

We appreciate Westlake’s quick turnaround on the priority survey. Excellent work! At the biweekly client meeting, it was mentioned that Westlake was doing a great job communicating schedule for ROE’s.”
