Riverside Homes – Elderberry Ridge

 

We recently added Elderberry Ridge to our portfolio of multi-family residential development projects. This Riverside Homes subdivision spans 17-acres and includes 45 residential lots in Tigard, Oregon. Westlake provided extensive land use planning, civil engineering, and surveying services for this unique project. Our land use planning team worked directly with the City of Tigard for several months to achieve dedication of 11 acres of this 17-acre subdivision site as land for public use. This area will remain open space and be used for watershed restoration.

Initial tasks included a feasibility study, land use application, and preliminary engineering. Once Conditions of Approval were issued by the City of Tigard, Westlake prepared construction documents, facilitated bidding, and obtained permitting. The construction phase included staking, administration, and close-out and as-built services, followed by final platting. In addition, Westlake provided assistance throughout the process involved for a road vacation request.
