Civil Engineering Director

Required Experience:

  • B.S., Civil Engineering;
  • Oregon PE registration required; licensing in other states a plus;
  • 10 - 15 years engineering experience with a background in site civil design, including a combination of roadway, traffic, storm water, irrigation design and utility relocations;
  • Solid understanding of civil design and construction standards, and environmental conditions / constraints;
  • Must possess a proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets;
  • Demonstrated skills developing relationships with municipal, county and state agencies in support of site civil projects;
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydrology modeling and MS software applications (including MS Project);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff and management;
  • Experience with project estimating, man-hour allocations and cost accounting methods for project management.
  • Duties Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, coordinate, plan and administer small to medium size site civil projects;
  • Coordinate and communicate with Principals to help guide and grow the firm;
  • Manage and mentor civil design staff, helping them to set and meet personal and professional goals;
  • Ensure the integrity and completeness of all civil designs with strong QA/QC procedures;
  • Establish and maintain client relationships; ensure client satisfaction; ensure client objectives are met;
  • Responsible for marketing, writing proposals, estimating work, maintaining and developing key client relationships;

  • Civil Engineering Manager

    We are looking for a talented individual to join our civil engineering team.

    The ideal candidate will offer the following:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a consulting engineer with experience providing design and project management for residential and site development projects, and renewable energy-related projects;
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and a professional registration (PE) is required;
  • A background in residential civil design, including a combination of roadway, traffic, stormwater, irrigation design, and utility relocations;
  • Experience with design and permitting requirements within the Portland metropolitan region, including the tri-county jurisdictions;
  • A solid understanding of civil design and construction standards, and environmental conditions/constraints;
  • A proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets;
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and MS software applications;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with clients, staff, and management;
  • Experience withwind farm development projects, access roads, pad grading, transportation plans, and SWPPP/SPCC plans a plus;
  • Multi-state experience and licensing a plus.

  • Senior Civil Project Manager/Engineer

    We have an outstanding staff and welcome the addition of a Senior Civil Project Manager to our team.

    Required Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and a professoinal registration (PE) is required;
  • 5-10 years of engineering experience with a background in civil site design including a combination of roadway, traffic, stormwater, irrigation design, and utility relocation;
  • Expereince with wind farm development projects, access roads, pad grading, transportation plans, and SWPP/SPCC plans a plus;
  • A solid understanding of civil design and construction standards, and environmental conditions/constraints;
  • Experience with design and permitting requirements within the Portland metropolitan region, including the tri-county jurisdictions a plus;
  • A proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets;

  • Experience with wind farm development projects, access roads, pad grading, transportation plans, and SWPPP/SPCC plans a plus;
