{"id":3712,"date":"2025-10-28T20:04:39","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T20:04:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/westlakeconsultants.com\/site\/?p=3712"},"modified":"2026-05-05T19:31:04","modified_gmt":"2026-05-05T19:31:04","slug":"habitat-for-humanity-frame-a-future-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/westlakeconsultants.com\/site\/habitat-for-humanity-frame-a-future-event\/","title":{"rendered":"Habitat for Humanity &#8216;Frame A Future&#8217; Event"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In October, Westlake staff were invited to attend the <strong>Habitat for Humanity \u201cFrame A Future\u201d<\/strong> event at the West Lake Grove community in Lake Oswego, a development our team has helped to develope. This inspiring community celebration raised $460,000 to help frame the 23 homes currently under construction at West Lake Grove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>These homes will create stability for 100 future residents, including 60 children.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speakers at the event included Habitat President Steve Messinetti, and a recent Stanford University graduate who grew up in a Habitat home in Portland and credits the stability he experienced with helping him succeed. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lake Oswego Mayor Joe Buck, an early supporter of bringing this Habitat development to the city shared<\/strong> <strong><em>\u201cFor me, it was a really cool thing to grow up in LO, and it really set me up for the future. I\u2019m so excited at the hope a development like this brings for the kids who will live here, who will go to school down the street. It\u2019s this diversity of residents that a vibrant and healthy community really requires.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Westlake is proud to have played a meaningful role in bringing this Habitat project to life by providing extensive land use planning, civil design and development, surveying and construction services. In May, several Westlakers also participated in a Build Day at the site.
