Tasks and responsibilities varied among the group, but making \u201ccow pies\u201d (shredded coconut fibers and glue), gluing individual beans to the structure\u2019s base, and flower preparation were a few favorites. One float even required scaling a two-story scaffold! Despite a fear of heights, a few volunteers were up for the challenge. It\u2019s always exciting to get a sneak-peek of the floats, but to see the time and energy required to make the parade such a success is truly impressive. We\u2019re happy to have been able to play a small part in the event and really enjoyed bonding as a team along the way.
